TitlePage, the industry's online price & availability service
TitlePage is the Australian book industry's online price and availability service. It allows publishers and distributors to offer current price, availability and stock information free to booksellers and suppliers at www.titlepage.com.
DataPage
DataPage is a comprehensive title data download service. It has been developed in response to requests from booksellers to be able to download title information en masse - rather than on a title-by-title basis, which is the case with the free TitlePage service available to booksellers.
DataPage draws its data from the same database as TitlePage, and it is a subscription-based service. Fees vary according to the number of records downloaded and any customisation required by the subscribing bookseller.

Why will TitlePage be beneficial?
Publishers using TitlePage have found that calls to their customer service centres have reduced in number and duration and the content of the call is more concerned with ordering or progress queries rather than information queries. In addition, booksellers and suppliers are discovering some publishers' titles for the first time by using this industry-wide service.
Booksellers can use TitlePage to get accurate price, availability and bibliographic information 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Booksellers have reported that access to the service outside normal business hours and on weekends has improved customer service and is saving them considerable time and money in dealing with P&A enquiries.

Booksellers need to go to www.titlepage.com and register for an account. Assuming you are an Australian bookseller and are actively trading with an Australian publisher or distributor your account will be activated within 2 business days.
Publishers and distributors can become part of TitlePage by paying a low-cost annual subscription based on their turnover and the number of titles they wish to list on TitlePage. They also need to be a member of the Australian Publishers Association. To list titles they must own or control the exclusive copyright in Australia in the title.
Publishers or their distributors need to provide ONIX records for their titles. Larger publishers and distributors can upload their titles and amendments therto via a secure FTP access point. Independent publishers with a relatively small number of titles can upload single title information using the tool available online at the TitlePage website.
