Following last year's inaugural event, BookUp returns to the ICC Sydney for a full day discussing the hot topics impacting publishers and publishing both at home and abroad.

The Australian Book Industry Conference will be followed in the evening by the Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs), also at the ICC Sydney, offering a great opportunity to look to the future of publishing and celebrate the past year's successes with industry colleagues and peers. After so long stuck on video calls, join us in Sydney for real-life interaction and networking throughout the day at both BookUp and the ABIAs.

At BookUp you can expect a day full of experts from publishing and beyond, sharing thought-provoking ideas and actionable insights to address current and future industry challenges.

We'll look at what's happening globally, but with a focus on what's needed now in terms of local implementation. We'll also hear from the next generation of publishing leaders, as they look to shape the future of the industry.
