Patrizia Di Biase-Dyson – Chief Executive

Di Biase-Dyson is an experienced book industry professional with a successful track record in independent publishing, and prior to being appointed CEO was Chief of Staff at the APA and a great champion of access initiatives like the Open Book Internship program.

Dr Stuart Glover – Head of Policy

Stuart has a background as an arts administrator, cultural industries consultant, and academic specialising in editing and literary policy. He is responsible for building relationships with government and stakeholders, and developing advocacy and policy positions for the APA.

Andrea Hanke – Industry Development

Andrea is former Editor-in-Chief of Books+Publishing, and has most recently been working as Editor of Books+Publishing’s Think Australian newsletter. Andrea supports industry development initiatives and projects for the Association and sectoral committees.

Melissa Crino – Programs and Partnerships

Melissa manages the APA’s industry awards and event activity, including the BookUp conference, the Australian Book Industry Awards and the Educational Publishing Awards Australia. She also coordinates APA attendance at overseas events such as international book fairs.

Cat Colwell – Head of Product & Supply Chain

Cat is product manager of the Australian publishing industry’s bibliographic supply chain web-service, TitlePage, and manages the development of the Australian Book Network. She also provides industry infrastructure support and is coordinator of Australian metadata groups.
