BookUp is the Australian publishing industry’s headline conference and networking event series.

BookUp brings the industry together to share and discuss the latest news, trends and learnings from across the publishing sector and beyond.

The annual program is centred around a one-day conference alongside a supporting series of short online seminars and sessions across the year.

Events address emerging opportunities and challenges for the sector, and deliver a mix of analysis, debate, and practical expertise aimed at stimulating further discussion and action across the industry.

The next BookUp conference will be held at Melbourne Connect in Melbourne on Wednesday 22 July 2026, with a Research Day taking place on Thursday 23 July.
